Our Ambassadors

GERALD ASAMOAH
We are honored to introduce Gerald Asamoah as an official ambassador for PlayAfro. Born in Ghana and having moved to Germany in 1990, Gerald made history as the first African-born black player to represent the German national football team, earning 43 caps and scoring six goals between 2001 and 2006. He was instrumental in Germany's campaigns during the 2002 FIFA World Cup, where the team won the silver medal, and the 2006 FIFA World Cup, where they reached the semi-finals.

LIBAN SOLEMAN
We are honored to introduce Liban Soleman as an official ambassador for PlayAfro. Liban Soleman is the newly appointed Executive Director of the Grammy Awards for Africa and serves as a Special Advisor to the CEO of the Recording Academy. His appointment is part of the Recording Academy's Africa Strategy, which has introduced the Best African Performance category and aims to elevate Afro-centric music on the global stage.

STANLEY ENOW
We are proud to present Stanley Enow as an official ambassador for PlayAfro. Stanley Enow, a UNICEF Global Ambassador, is a visionary leader and a key figure in the global Afro-music industry. His advocacy for children’s rights and commitment to humanitarian causes have earned him widespread respect, extending his influence far beyond the stage.
